How old does my child have to be to have prints made into jewellery?
Hand and footprint jewellery is suitable for all ages (including adults and pets!). Babies have to 'develop' fingerprints which is usually at around 1 year in age, with this in mind, it is not advisable to order fingerprint jewellery for children under the age of 2 years. This will help to ensure they have a clear enough print to show in the jewellery.
How easy is it for me to take the prints myself?
It is easy and quick. Fingerprints are taken by mixing two pieces of putty together, rolling into a ball and pressing the finger into it. Handprints and footprints are taken using a non-toxic, mess-free wipe and special paper. Simply wipe the hand or foot, place on the paper and remove. Simple! Each kit has two pieces of paper and we encourage you to put as many prints on each as you can and then choose your favourite.
I don't live near you, can I still order jewellery?
Yes, we can send you a kit with full instructions so that you can take your prints and post back, once we receive your them we will make your jewellery and send it to you (three weeks after we receive your prints).

IN PERSON: You are welcome to come to us, look at the jewellery and have your prints taken.
Payment can be made by bank transfer, cash, cheque or Paypal (there is a 5% surchage for using paypal).
How long does it take to do?
BY POST: 3 - 4 weeks. IN PERSON: 3 weeks. Kits are posted out by first class mail if you order online. Once we receive your prints back, we will make your jewellery and send it to you in 3 weeks.
How much is postage?
The delivery charge is £7 in total. This includes your finished piece being sent by Royal Mail Special delivery (tracked and fully insured).
